And they they were gone...
Hi all,
Been a while since I posted about my struggles but thought I'd share this. Those of you that have been so kind as to respond will probably remember my struggles with thrips and a mystery issue on my Black Krim that sort of looked like russet mites or very well may have been. After my first harvest and my Black Krim in such distress, I dowsed all of my plants with neem...I mean soaked them down dripping. I repeated this 3 times every third day and said "f" it, what'll be will be. My grow area smelled like neem for a week after the last application...Mind you concentrations were per instructions and nothing crazy. Aside from watering and fertilizing, I'm not obsessing over all the push and pull of nature and just left them be. Over the past few weeks, I've noticed something. The thrips are gone. I mean, gone-gone. The mite issue? Gone and most weird of all, my Black Krim has survived and the progression of what ever what killing the hell out of it...has stopped and its putting up new growth and setting more fruit with several ready to pick. Aside from the BER here and there, my plants, scarred and battered as they may be, are just going off! New shoots and full trusses! I guess they just needed a good helping of neem and neglect. Go figure.

What doesn't kill them makes them stronger! Glad they're pulling through!
