Sweet Pea Question
I'm going to plant sweet pea seeds in a pretty turquoise color pot that's about 10 inches across the top. (I don't know if that's called diameter or not?)
How many seeds can I plant and have enough room to get lots of flowers?

Deborah... I usually put 4 seeds around near the outside edge and one, sometimes two in the center. That usually makes a full looking pot of foliage and blooms. More than that and at 10" I think would be too much.

OK, I'll do that too. Thanks! I'm hoping to grow them year 'round here.

Do you get real hot over your way during the summer? I've only be able to grow them in the early spring here. Beautiful as they are, they don't like our heat and humidity. I even tried growing them in the shade to no avail.
You growing any special variety? |

Good choice! : ) Not only pretty, but fragrant too. I think you'll enjoy them and the flowers seem to last a bit longer than some of the other cultivars.
