Default Aphids?

I've got two otherwise super gorgeous Momotaro plants that have some leaves with what looks like insect damage. I've included a couple photos here. Any ideas if this could be from aphids or some other insect?

I doubt it. Aphids seem to want to suck along the stems and new growth. OTOH, I also have aphids (and not quite enough ladybugs) and have noticed these little light spots on the leaves. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable will chime in.

Aphids are pretty easy to see usually. My guess is something smaller, spider mites possibly. Examine the plant minutely for tiny webbing

Thanks all! I asked because I had some aphids on a few eggplants, which I dealt with. I don't see any insects on the plants, damage on other plants (limited to two momotaro plants - which seem to be healthy otherwise), or webbing on the plants. I'll continue to monitor them. Thanks!
