Default Sprouting tiny seeds

It’s difficult to have a sure and easy way of starting small tiny seeds, seeds like tomato seeds and smaller ones. How deep do you bury them? How can you be sure you are not covering them too much or too little?

Seed sprouting method for small seeds:
  1. Wet Jiffy peat pellets with netting removed until they are fully puffed up. Add a few drops of detergent as wetting agent.
  2. Let pellets completely dried up and crumble up pellets into fine peat powder (very easy).
  3. Broadcast your seeds over wet seed starting mix.
  4. Now you can use a sieve to broadcast the fine peat powder over your seeds. You can get a very controlled thickness layer of peat powder over the seeds.
Use a fine mist sprayer to wet the peat powder and wait for germination.
