What do you think this is?
What do you think is going on with these Pepperoncini? First time we ever tried them. Is this usual? The seeds were from a commercial producer that supplied several of the varieties we started this year, but these were 2 weeks longer to germinate and have gone yellow as shown. Everything used and done was identical across the board for the single 10x10 tray of peppers we started.

I wonder if it's too much water?
Last year, I forgot that my pepper seedlings were much smaller than my tomato seedlings, and I gave them all the same amount of water. Some of my peppers looked like that Linda |

I had this happen to me too, with seeds that were old? or germinated later and grew more slowly than the rest, as Linda said, they couldn't handle the amount of water that was right for the others.
You may still get good plants out of them, but it obviously is going to take longer.. What kind of pepperoncini are they? |

OK repotted into dry mix in net pots. Confirmed that there are not enough roots, maybe even fewer than the first pot up. Funny it only got this variety. Now its wait and see, thanks.

Varieties differ in many ways. Some like more wet, some eat certain nutrients at a high rate. I have no idea of the grow characteristics of pepperoncini, but yes, it's possible that it reacts badly to wet and really wants available N. In a different environment, I think you'll be okay. (Don't expect the existing leaves to improve. Pay attention the new growth.)
