Wow for Alberta Canada!!!

What's the green thing next to the shoes? Don't tell me it's a Green Zebra tomato!

Wow! That is what I expect our schoolroom will look like in another couple of weeks. (Plus 80 some-odd pepper plants whose varieties I knew until the cats knocked all the markers out!)

dcarch,
Little did I know that crossing Watermelon beefsteak and Green Zebra would produce such large fruit. I am having difficulty with the fruit hanging on the stem as they are much too heavy and break off the truss, and the DTM is way too long for most growers. I will continue to grow out this monster and stablize it to something more manageable for the home garden. I love the colouration from Green Zebra and the taste- surprisingly sweet....like a real watermelon!

In the plastic tubs- Yellow Canaries and Red Robins, by the window- Micro Gemma and Mano.
I was hoping for ripe maters by May 1 but it may be a few more days as a couple are just turning.

That's wonderful. We will name this variety, "Green with envy Zebra". I only want exclusive rights to sell each seed for $25.00 on eBay.
