Default pepper flowers

As I was setting out my plants tonight, I noticed several
had flower buds forming while still in the 6 pac - about g
5 inches high. Should I pick these off so the energy goes
to the plant? Thanks - piegirl (varieties big bertha and
sweet yellow)

I'm interested in the answers to this question as well. I left mine on, and I've got tiny peppers and tiny plants. The good side of it is yesterday I picked my first Jalapeno, actually first fresh one I've ever eaten, it was delicious, about 2" long and 1/2" thick.

I have noticed that the one tomato plant that had two tiny tomatoes on it when purchased and planted has drastically fallen behind the others, it's now like 1/16 the size of the rest. So I would say pull off the flowers, but it's my first year and I don't really know.

According to the following sites, it is best to pinch off any blossoms.

This was something that I was wondering about also and will be pinching this year, if it occurs. I didn't in previous years and didn't get very many peppers!
