New Texas Guys Garden
Wow, Much better than GW here I can't believe I never found this forum before.
I will have my wife send new photos tommorow here are some not to old ones. There has been significant growth and ripening but I am at work in Alaska so depend on my wife for photos and reports till I get home. I forgot to take updates on Thursday before I left. OK Some images for some visual stimulation. |

The Big Boy tomatoes planted against the fence were within inches of the top of the fence Thursday . The Brandywines I have are getting very robust but lack fruit. The Cherries are gonna be a wild ride on stakes since my wife has an aversion to pruning and I will be gone for 6 weeks.

Welcome.
Glad you found this place. We have a Tx member here who works in Alaska. Be careful of your neighbor stealing you Big Boy once it grows taller than the fence. dcarch

This software is much more user friendly. I have used it on a couple of different forums. I like the pop up free, free speech atmosphere as well. I see many of the knowledgable people from GW here as well as some new to me personas that seem to have a wealth of knowledge.

You got me pegged Worth! I know who you are now. I won't tell about your hobby if you don't about mine!
Cibolo is outside of San Antonio just south of New Braunfels and just East of I35 in Guadalupe County. Just a little south of you. I miss the more forgiving Corpus Christi Growing zones where I am orignally from We moved to Cibolo last Spring becasue I walways fly out of San Antonio. Steve W. has even picked up some heirlooms after listening to me rave about them. He is growing in Kansas. hopefully he has success. |

I believe Cibolo is a subburb of San Antonio. One of my best friends used to be City Administrator there. Is that the correct Cibolo Bryan? Welcome to Tomatoville!

In case you haven't been sufficiently spammed about it yet, I really hope you will attend the South East Texas Tomato Fest on June 16th! It's in Columbus, TX.
