Default Black stem at joints

This is my first year growing peppers. My Blushing Beauty plants are in pots and look great except for the black on the stem where the leaf branches meet the main stem. Is this a problem and if so how can i fix it? The plants have blossoms and some small peppers. No problem with the leaves (yet).

Thanks for any help.

Don't worry, that is typical for many of the pepper varieties.

Thanks! That's good news. My Ariane peppers do not have the black so I was worried. I will sit back now, relax and wait for my peppers

I was concerened as well, and have been given the same advice as above, it's normal and nothing to be concerned about....

This is what mine look like (pics are a month old)...and slightly out of focus...
