Kurtovska Kapija is a long red sweet pepper that grows about two feet in height. Kapija means sword sheath and it refers to the shape of the pepper.

Here is a picture from the seed packet. It shows a pepper that looks a bit like Cervena Chuska. The description is that it is an bushy habit with thick walled peppers, probably good for roasting. Hope that helps

Kurtovska Kapija is well-known here in Belarus. I grew it several times and had good results.

*midseason to mid-late sweet cultivar with very long red, conical, thick skinned 100-150 g fruits on a compact plant, very productive. It is one of the main commercial varieties in Bulgaria, named after Kurtovo Konare village near Plovdiv.

Take a look here:
http://agro.ttm.bg/publish/ABP/06.htm

Average height 60-65 cm. (when sown 60 x 15 cm.). Fruit 12-15 cm. average weight 70-80 gr. (Andrey, probably you have some other cultivar named as Kurtovska kapiya/kapia/kapija). It is real, old heirloom turned in commerce (as Andrey writed from Kurtovo Konare village near Plovdiv). Not high yielder, but of high quality

I can't see the 12-15 cm long fruits with weight 70-80 g in their describtion Yes, they say it's 60-65 cm tall but also compact...Fruits looks like from my KK.

That part of my description is from another place (book) :-)
I was worried about your word "conical" - it is conical, but flattened. But that misunderstanding is solved - you writed that your is like those on the photo.
