That's funny, Ilex!
" I was going to take a picture of the wild cacti that grows here" Anther day then, Salt. It's nice to see what's growing there at your place. |

" I was going to take a picture of the wild cacti that grows here" Anther day then, Salt. I hope so. I'm starting to wonder if I should have planted rice instead of tomato plants. |

Cacti. They will flower soon.

Rosemary just like thyme, sage, or hyssop will take awhile to establish itself so don't expect it to grow fast like a tomato. These are woody plants, with woody roots, and they have great staying power once they are big enough to grow. I wouldn't push, just patient. ;)
Phila Gardener is right, those broad leaved ones are something else. Could well be oregano alright. Let them get bigger, they'll smell. I've tried to get scent off random seedlings of herbs in the garden and rarely clues available at that small stage. Ah, patience. 8-) No good when weeding. :( |
Mine too, I planted some seeds last month and only now they are coming out... will probably have to wait some more months until I can use the cilantro in my kitchen! Can't wait!
