What is the worst thing that can happen to tomatoes?

I know there many options when it comes to pest and disease control.
Actinovate , Exel Lg , Serande, Neem oil etc. and people seem to use a combination.

But these products are pretty expensive. If you were to pick one product to offer the most important type of protection which would it be? From what I have read, it seems like the most devastating thing to happen to tomatoes is late blight, so perhaps exel lg?

Thanks

Check out this product in post #19 (first product listed by Naysen). I find it really does the job, especially when used in a preventative spraying routine.

After 4 years of success, I can find no fault with this product.

"Is there a general all purpose disease control product?"

No, but if you could invent one, you'd make a zillion dollars!

Living in Southern CA we dont have the disease pressure that much of the rest of the country has to deal with. Unless you are on the coast you likely dont have much humidity and no rain once we get past Spring. Late Blight is most often associated with wet weather. Many of those pricey organic products have a limited shelf life.

I have come to love Daconil. The next product I buy will likely be the all purpose 3 in 1 that Container Ted mentioned.

Thanks,

The Safer brand 3 in 1 looks like a good option plus its easy to get, they have it at my local Target.
