Red Rocket bush tomato

Here's a Red Rocket bush tomato in a 12" pot. It has about a dozen green flower buds near the top that might open next week.

This plant is living up to its name by quickly developing a compact structure on a robust central leader. The caliper at the base is about 3/4".

I looked it up and it's early too! There's not a lot of discussion out there about it though.

You'll have to report back on the taste :cute:.

I have grown red rocket in the ground several times.
It is one of my favorites.
It got about waist high very bushy and was just loaded with tomatoes.
Not a super star here so to speak but a real winner for me.
I always recommended it for early tomatoes in the south west.

I'm going to put it on my wish list for next year!

36 red rockets!
If they produce like they should you are going to have tomatoes running out your ears.
I could see each plant putting out 36 tomatoes easily.
That would be 1296 tomatoes almost all at once.:))
