Barney Rids the Garden of Another Pest
 
Mice, squirrels, raccoons, groundhogs, you name the vermin, Barney has been a trooper at helping me rid the garden of pests over the last 9 years!

Yay for Barney! If I lived closer to you I would ask about renting him to chase my varmints away :). Have you ever heard a groundhog whistle?

Thanks, and another name for the critter, whistle pig. I've had several over the years as pets, and they whistle when they're hungry or need attention.:yes:

As a pet? No way! Were they yard pets or did they actually come inside your house? I read that they are actually very neat and tidy animals with separate "rooms" in their burrows that are designated bathrooms. If bunnies can be litter box trained I guess a groundhog could be too?

That's not a surprise. Even skunks can make good pets.


I think I'd draw the line at a badger, though.
