Garden spot #1

I tilled up this spot today and put out a few tomato cages for effect.

About 20 tomato plants will go here and the rest will go in the other spot.
this place will be for My wife to pick veggies for the house.

While I was at it I planted some icicle and two types of red radishes and some romaine lettuce.:D
the old truck and junk will be moved and my new greenhouse will go there after I take out the fence

Robin I learned how to drive in that truck when I was around 9 years old. We go back a long time, almost 49 years.

I used to ride the front finder on our big farm we used to have like in the John Wayne movie, Hatari.

I also rode the fender with a rifle and shot rabbits as they ran out in the FARM road.
Another guy would be on the other fender and one on the top.
That was a long time ago.

I don’t live on the river I live in the Lost Pines area on a hill.
I don’t care for pine trees because I had to smell pine on me all of the time from working in a saw mill as a kid.
They do grow here though, just not on my place.

The soil is what is trapped on my place from runoff. It’s about 1 foot deep and as loose as can be with hardly any rocks.

Tiller looks brand new! :D How long did the cages take to be delivered? I plan on ordering a few sets.

Your dirt looks nice.

Looks like great dirt, good luck!

Bryan,

I think the cages took about a week I was in Alaska at the time they came in.
I have 30 of 24 inch TTC'S and 50 of the other cages I bought last night.
The tiller will stay that way too as i keep all of my stuff in the garage.;)

Matereater,

This soil is great, it grew some nice plants last year and all I had was a hoe.
This is the first tiller I have ever had that was my own.

Is it possible to drool over soil? Apparently, it is!!!

Happy growin', Worth!

Not really, I just hang them up and skin them out.
Got me a little sniper hide in the back yard.

No problem at all.

LOL, Speaking of not eating critters, I only eat the flesh from fin and feather animals.. but you may have any of my bunnys to do with what you want. I used to eat alot of them before I gave up eating mammals. I can't give up fowl and seafood.
Have you thought about keeping chickens? If I was better situated neighbor wise I would have a few roaming around.
