My Husband grew the large purple from Baker Creek. I used them with my Purple tomatillos to make "salsa Violetta" which, if you did not cook it much (hot water bath was 5 min-pints, I think at my 4000 foot elevation in Wyoming year before last.) stayed purple and was really lovely. Husband also says the plants do not get real big.
