Hi Linda and thanks.
I prune the indeterminates to 1-2 stems. Sometimes they trick me and its 3! Part of the reason I do it is that the fence and trees block out a lot of sun so I want them taller to reach more light. The other reason is that I had a fungus problem early on and want more air flow.
I don't sucker the dwarves, determinates or the cherries. The exception is a couple of my black cherries that were in spots behind bleeding hearts. I had thought about cutting down the bleeding hearts but they are my wife's and divorce is expensive so I just suckered the thing to make it taller, lol!
