Marsha, I use Pro Mix to start. I usually run it through a strainer to lighten and fluff it up.

The buckets have Pro Mix/Pine fines blend. The peppers should be ready to plant out this week. Those will get the Bonnie's. The Bushel Stop had a bag open so I could feel/inspect it. Feels remarkably like Pro Mix. Maybe a touch moister out of the bag, but that doesn't matter. Once you get plants into it, you're watering anyway so you end up with the same thing, moist potting mix.

Now, I need to find a cheap and easy way to support all these plants.
