Tomatoes in ground zone 5, and dad leaves ICU.....
So pops leaves ICU next week, and goes to a nursing home (he's only 63 yrs young)
After 5 weeks in ICU he'll be in rehab for a LONG time. I planted a big beef in my raised bed 25 days ago. it was about 8" tall. After burying all but 4", it's now right at 30" After me ignoring all my plants due to "living" at the hospital.... this is what it looks like today..... About the size of a KIWI At LEAST 6 weeks ahead of last year!

I'm glad to hear that your dad is progressing well and will be out of the ICU soon. I'm certain that he will recover quicker in a more settled environment, too.
Your plants look nice and healthy, too. Tomatoes are tenacious plants, aren't they?
