My first Black Krim, Black from Tula
good thing i picked them yesterday, they had green shoulders and not to soft, 1 day in a paper bag with a banana. i just tasted the Black Krim which is cut, Black from Tula is next. Nice flavor for the first fruit on this BK, now 7 more any day now . O MY!!! |

Very nice looking!!
I like to let them ripen on the counter out of direct sunlight without the paper bag or bananna but cannot say I have ever tried the bag and bananna so not sure how much more it would speed up ripening or affect end flavor due to the sped up ripening. Craig |

The best tasting tomato is vine ripened. Some people like to ripen them on a sunny windowsill. At the end of the season, use the alternate methods to ripen the greenies.

I sure will leave them on plants longer now, i have 1 or more from all 14 plants now, except for Cherokee purple, Stump was very nice picked early, Mariannes peace i picked early also, looks beautiful, blacks are my favorite now.Tula ,Krim,Black Cherry's, still waiting for a Carbon in a pot. Iam trying to get my plants to develop new fruit in the middle or top of my plants. Because i got huge fruits on the bottoms as the plants were growing 60 days ago. Wondering if i can use Neptune/fish emulsion now , no Miracle Grow anymore this year?
