Default What Tomato is This??

I grew this plant from what were labeled as Green Copia seeds that I received in the trade. I don't think they are Green Copias. The plant produced both the large bomb shaped fruit and the plum. It is a good producer and has decent flavour. Could this simply be an unstable version of the Green Copia? Any thoughts apreciated.

Alex,

When I grew Green Copia last year, 1 plant produced fruits that were shaped like Green Copia, and were similar size, but the colors were like what you show in your picture. Taste was quite bad, so I did not save seeds.

I am thinking Green Copia is not 100% stable...

sorry, I just looked at my notes and actually I had two plants that produced off-type fruits, not one.

Tania,

Thanks. I had two plants and each produced the same two types of fruit. This fruit was very good. I have saved seeds and will do a growout next year as well to see if it might stabalize.
