Default Black Mountain Pink is a monster!

I was just wondering how many of you have grown it and if the plant was huge. Very thick stems and tons of flowers. The first truss had 7 nicely spaced flowers on it and all 7 set. How does it taste? Thanks in advance.

I grew it in 2004, the last time I was able to grow lots of varieties. And I did so b'c Marianne Jones, who has been raving about it, insisted that I grow it.

I can't remember the plant particulars but I do remember the fruits and, well, I couldn't see what the fuss was all about.

I know a few others who grew it and opinions do seem to be mixed. So your full report will be of interest as well.

Dunkel, I grew BMP last year from plants given to me by Duane (Dukerdawg). I really like it and am growing 2 this year. Taste is on the mild side but fruits can be huge:
