Default My garden and skunk??

My garden this morning after watering last afternoon, nice growth so far, only watering now every 3-4 days heavy. My birdbath top which is differet than the bottom just sits on top, this morning i found it laying down. Picked it up and found skunk hair under the very heavy top. I just realized that these photos i am losing the ground as plants tomatoes/peppers, herbs spread out.

The Texas solution is a 410 or 20 gauge.

I would suggest my trusty 28 gauge I have had since I was 8 years old.
Just put the bead right in front of their nose and fire.

That way you can save the skunk meat for soup and the pelts make nice house slippers.

Might want to think twice about blasting all that skunk oil all over your garden.A shotgun will vaporize it.Might want to try the larger air/pellet gun.Even then when shot it will release.Trap, walk up with tarp or plastic sheeting, cover remove to the wild. They will release up to 8 ft.

Catch the skunk, have his/her gland removed and keep as a wonderful family addition.
They are related to the feline family.

A ground hog is a different story.

I put the birdbath back up, so you all think he would come back after losing hair? I was lucky the top do not hit a plant, i may put it out of the garden.

I have used this technique minus the syringe part, and it works well as long as your trap placement is precise in regard to how you intend to do your approach. Ain't carbon monoxide grand! It's all important to think ahead.

Worth, I like the slippers...I don't know about the soup .
