Default A new record for me in zone 3a!

Ta Da! April 30th with snow on the ground in Zone 3a. Near Edmonton Alberta.
Look what I have in my tiny little greenhouse! It broke my previous record by 23 days for earliest ripe tomato of the year. the cute and early old fashioned dwarf 'Tiny Tim'. Makes me happy!
I'll have better mato's as the year goes on but there is something special about the first one (especially up here.)

That's impressive, especially for zone 3.

Karen,

Very cool about the first ripe tomatoes!
Not so cool about snow... We also had record cold/freezing here in Anmore on April 29, down to -1C. Looks like it is now warming up finally!
