planted out today
this is a garden i maintain for my father. he likes red tomatoes so thats what he got most of. of course i tossed in some other colored varieties and cherries.
3 cherries red- sun cherry yellow- sungold f1 brown/black- sunchocola Reds big boy- his request rutgers (semi-indeterminate?)- his request rutgers (determinate) big beef yellow KBX pink goose creek-red or pink???? tomatobase says both brandy boy purple cherokee purple i still have many other varieties for the other 4 gardens i started seeds for. tomorrow i will plant garden 2 at my brother in laws house. he'll get about 10 plants and not many are duplicates of what i planted today. nice thing about that garden is that i get to eat the fruits but dont have to do any maintenance

Wow, it's great to see such a great relationship, you are both very lucky!
I'm thinking of taking down some tall skinny evergreens that block my morning sun, so I'm probably going to wait a week or two to plant out just in case they miss and come down over my garden. I'd about die if my plants met their demise before enjoying their summer! Good luck this season!

got the last 2 gardens set out fri . hopefully everything works out as the weather man was a little off on the rain we weren't supposed to get. they called for possible drizzle and we got a downpour
my beach garden which is a raised bed less than 100 yards from the water gave me all sorts of problems last season because of the misty saltwater air. i'm trying some new varieties here. the only repeats are kelloggs breakfast and sungold which both did well last year in this bed rosella purple x 2 neptune x 2 bwt 212 s612 mocross x neptune F2 mocross carneal flora-dade arkansas traveler kelloggs breakfast big beef sunchocola sungold f1 prize of the trials second south jersey garden kelloggs breakfast KBX rutgers stump of the world cherokee chocolate GMG pink german giant momotaro odoriko carbon x 2 big boy kimberley sunchocola sungold f1
