I'm currently using Amendments: Kelp Meal - 2.5lb box 9 dollars Dolomite Lime - 50lb bag 11 dollars Alfalfa Meal - 50Lb 21 dollars Azomite - 44lb 24 Dollars Bloodmeal - 3.5lb 9 dollars Fish Bone Meal - 2.5lb 9 dollars Mexican Bat Guano High N. 12 oz - 6 dollars Indonesian Bat Guano High P 2.2 lb - 8 dollars Buckaroo Worm castings - .8cubic foot - 15 dollars Soil Base: LGM Planting Mix 2.cu ft 11 dollars Coco Coir 2-2.5 cu ft - 11 dollars Perlite or pumice 3 cu ft - 11 dollars I'm thinking of getting some crab meal, but it's a bit pricey. 44 dollars for 25 pounds. The amendments i use per cubic feet is: 1/2 cup bat guano N 1/2 cup bat guano P 1 cup azomite 1 cup dolomite lime (LGM Planting mix is on the acidic side) 1/4th cup Blood meal 1/4th cup Fish Bone Meal 1 Cup Alfalfa Meal 1/2 Cup Kelp Meal For the soil base I use 1/3rd LGM planting mix 1/3rd Coco Coir 1/5th Pumice or Perlite 1/10th Worm Castings If anyone wants to chime in on my mix that be great. I'm currently letting my mix cook. I used it for a couple titan sunflower seeds I have. |
