Purple seedlings
The stems and underside of leaves have a purple tint on my Sugar Drop seedlings. None of the other seedlings have this color.
Everything is the same. Air temp is 74 to 77. Starting mix is Jiffy Seed Starting Mix. Under T-8, 6500K light. Is this normal for this variety? I grew them last year but can not remember if they were like this. They do have that spicy sweet smell like last year. Other than the purple tint, they look healthy. |

It's quite common in small seedlings, especially in cooler temps. Don't worry

I've got some Taimyr dwarfs seedlings that have a lot of purple. Gnarly prehistoric looking things, no symmetry to the growth.

I used to have the same in some of my seedlings. Usually it is a sign of cool temps.
