Grafting question - will it survive?

I'm trying some grafts this year in an attempt to get a better crop of Black Krims and Brandywines. I grow in large containers and boxes on my deck. These photos are on day 5 after graft. There are roots growing out of the sides because I waited til the plants were too big for my clips (rookie mistake). Will these survive? Should I do anything, like shave off these roots in a week or so?

I used Estamino as my grafting stock, and the pics shown are Indigo Rose (left), Grape Sugar Plum (middle) and Black Krim (right). The Indigo Rose and Grape Sugar Plums aren't important to me - really it was for practice with excess seedlings.

All I know is that you should not let those roots get in the soil if they are from the scion. If they get into the soil you will lose any or most benefits from the rootstalk.
