Barry's Crazy Cherry plants are bigger with more trusses, but Ildi's trusses are bigger.

Number of flowers isn't the problem with this type of tomatoes, I find they waste too much energy making so many flowers that won't produce anything.
Hope you will continue the comparison all season to see who produced more . |

Barrys Crazy Cherry produceds LOTS of delicious tomatoes last summer and it was VERY hot and dry. I had a very high number of fruit set but I shake the trusses every day, that helps a lot. And it was one of the last to die . Produced until frost.

This site is great or what !!!
Lots og good reviews and generous members. On the subject, my main cherry type is Riesentraube. I have tried S100, SS100, SG ..I liked their taste but I just can't put up w/ too many tiny tomatoes that crack/split. I even have stopped growing the so-called EARLY varieties w/small tomatoes. Preferences !!! Gardeneer |

I need to learn how to cross breed tomatoes, I'm growing Reisetomate "traveler tomato" a really crazy looking tomato, all blooms are "megablooms".... Crossed with
Barry's Crazy Cherry a multi flora would make an interesting plant, although I don't know what the tomatoes would look or taste like. |
