Soil temps for planting out cool season plants
Does anyone have a good reference or experience on soil temperatures needed to support planting out onions, lettuce, chard, and broccoli?
Thanks! |

I did find this link. It has the usual seed germination temps but also a column with transplanting temps.
http://www.gardenersnet.com/gardenin...mperatures.htm The sun and warm weekend really warmed and dried our beds. I was able to fork them last night and cool season plants and seeds will go out this week. |

That's a handy temperature chart.
So warm here yesterday, up to 15 C/60 F, I went out digging and weeding with thoughts of planting some early peas. But the ground on that side of the garden is still frozen if you go down a couple inches. |
