Default Early Ball & Balls Extra Early

I received an email the other from a gentlemen enquiring about these two varieties. He says that some 60 years ago his mother only grew out a variety called Early Ball. When the seeds for that variety dried up some 30 years ago his mother purchased the plants for Balls Extra Early. He thinks that Early Ball is not a hybrid but suspects Balls Extra Early is.

Does anyone know anything about these two varieties? And,
is possible to get seeds?

The only "Ball's ..." tomato that Ball Seed Company lists
anywhere on their web site these days is "Ball's Beefsteak".
You can see the TGS listing for it here:

Reimer's carries it, too.

I would guess that the Ball's Extra Early has been
discontinued.

No way to guess how early "Early Ball's" or "Ball's Extra Early"
may have been or what exactly they were like. Maybe they
would like Goliath.
