Tomato Growers Supply Co.
Just would like to give the folks at Tomato Growers Supply An ATTA-Boy or Girl for the fine service given on my order for 2007 (Got it right this time). Initially I tried to order online but on their dropdown for country listings they didn't have Germany. Gave them a call and they said "No Problem" put your address in the remarks section and the rest is history. Received my order in 5 days. Super Service. Amideutch

I love TGS. Beautiful catalog, great selection, excellent customer service -- I liked everything I ordered, and planning another order soon... more hot peppers this time.

i have ordered from tgs for many years and think they are top notch.
2 or 3 years ago i wanted to try just 1 new variety and this was before i found gw or tville so a trade was not possible. s&h was as much or more than the 1 packet of tomato seeds. i sent tgs an email asking if i could just send them a sase to eliminate the s&h charge. they gladly accpeted my request. now that's a company i will always support and sing their praises every chance i get. tom |

And any further support any of you can give to TGS will be deeply appreciated.
I posted here that Linda lost her husband Vince earlier this summer; quite unexpected. Vince was a lawyer as well as a CPA and was integral to the TGS operation re tomatoes. He would have wanted Linda to go on, she knows it, and she is, and we've chatted several times lately. It's hard, that's for sure. I help where I can and try to give her all the support that I can. She is a gracious, honest, wonderful woman.

I will most definately place an order with TGS this December or January. I've looked at the 2006 catalog about 1000 times.

I placed my first order with TGS on Sunday, had the seeds in my mailbox Friday. Truly excellent service.
Looking forward to an indoor tomato fest with Red Robin, Yellow Canary, Micro-Tom & Tiny Tim to get me through the winter doldrums [1st hard freeze came last night to finish off the garden]. |

Carolyn, when you mentionned here that Linda lost her husband I had just placed an order with TGS a few days prior to your post. I was pretty sure that she had MUCH more important things to do than to look after my seed order. I didn't think I was going to receive them and didn't even want to bother her with a refund or question about my order. I figured my lost was very insignificant, really.
Before I had time to re-order with another company the order from TGS arrived in Australia. I think it was 6-7 days after I placed it. Everything was there, instructions, little thank you note even a free packet of seeds. Knowing what had just happened to this woman I felt very humbled and inspired by her courage and determination to go on. |

My recent order from TGS arrived today. A few days later than the others I ordered the same day but had an extra package of seeds and nice note thanking me for the business. And still was only a day over a week arriving. Was impressed and will probably do business again in the future. I will know more about all the vendors I ordered seed from after I plant the seeds and grow them next year. Jay

Yes, and I'm glad to see that your Mama Leone is there from seeds I sent to Linda. I need to contact her about changing the info for Kosovo to I got my seeds from Glenn Parker, and I think I'll take the time to read through some of the other blurbs as well. For now I just scanned quickly. I know that Mule Team was described as an heirloom but Box Car Willie was not, and neither are. I also was pleased to see Todd County Amish being listed. I got those seeds from Doug in MN who is a member here as well as one called Amish Potato Leaf.

Bah! I submitted an order YESTERDAY!
Good to see New Big Dwarf and Kosovo getting more attention. I will have to give Church another taste in 2008 as it has gotten high reviews from several people. New Red/Pink for 2008:
