To any one who just received eggplant seeds from me....
Please keep me posted on how they do (for the most part, I sent out a variety of F2 and F3 of known, named hybrids, just for people to play around with) for you! It would be good to know how they germinated, what the fruit looked like, etc.
Feel free to ask about any of the varieties I sent you. Have fun, and enjoy! By the way, Patrina/Grub et al, I hope to package up a set of all of my F2 and F3 and unusual eggplant, to be sent to Patrina at the end of our growing season, along with a slew of new Dwarf tomato selections. So get your pots and beds ready!

Hey Craig,
Thank you so much for the eggplant seeds. So far, I've had good germination from Antigua, Fairy Tale F-2, and Calliope (not sure of the generation). I had zero germination from Listada di Gandia (!)... Stay tuned. I'll keep you posted as the plants progress. I can't wait to see how the fruit looks and tastes from Fairy Tale and Calliope. I had the same issue with Listada - seed appears to have pooped out....I have to see if I have any fresher seed to keep it going...odd, since last year it germinated fine.
