My 10' x 20' greenhouse build.
I'm building a 10' x 20' greenhouse on the south end of my garage. I thought I would document the progress here. The goal is to grow enough for the wife and I and storing the rest. Th goal is to make it as easy as possible with minimum bending, weeding, and manual labor as I have a bad back, and the wife has RA.
Here is the site prep. greenhouse-01.jpg I buried 300' of 1/2" irrigation tubing 4' to 5' underground to be used as a cooler for the reservoir. Never done hydroponics before. greenhouse-02.jpg The greenhouse will have 6' side wall and basically be a lean-to type building. I will use double walled polycarbonate for the panels, and wood frame construction. More to come.

Over Build
Spend a little now and over build instead of trying to fix it later. See my GH

When we (meaning my partner, who wanted to build it all himself) built a 6x8 greenhouse a couple years ago, a friend said, once you have a greenhouse, you'll want a larger one. True! It's full most of the time.

Hi Hab,
I have 4 acres but it's heavily wooded. This is the only spot with sun most of the day. I have the basics designed. The ceiling is 6' and the low end, and 13' 6" at the tall end with a 10' x 20' work area. Roof has a 9/12 pitch, so should shed snow easily. It will have polycarbonate roof and side with screened in ends. There will be polycarbonate end panels that will be removable. greenhouse-03.jpg

Good
I would add at least one whole house fan near the peak for ventilation, cheap $100ish
