Melon Seeds Are Stuck on Paper Towel
I was saving seeds from a chamoe melon and I initially put them on a coffee filter but the seeds were too damp. I should have known better and left well enough alone but instead I put the seeds on a paper towel and now they are stuck.
Will they become unstuck if I re-wet the paper towel? Is there anything else I can do? |

Why not just cut 'em up and plant 'em? Pretend they're seed tape...

Thanks for the input. It's a ton of seeds far more than I have use for and I planned to use them in trades or donate them.
I did want to confirm that if they are stuck and I have to pry them off if that would be OK and not compromise the seeds using the logic of seed tape. However that is the last resort and I am wondering if there is a way to loosen the seeds like re-wetting the paper towel. Another option is that I just scrap this set of seeds and harvest from other melons. |
