Default Coco Coir Pepper Care

I have a two peppers I started from seeds I saved, those original seeds I got from a friends plant. They flower pretty often but no fruit. They are in Coco Coir/GrowStone Super Soil Aerator mix. I have them in 1 liter air pots. I moved them to higher light. I water with a mix of hydroponic fertilizers. I would like to save seeds from them or get them big enough to air layer. Should I pollinate them?

bTW, that growstone stuff is awesome. I got a sample, removed the biggest pieces and so far it's the best seed starter mix to date.
