What's wrong with this tomato?

It happens to be a Craig's Pink (look at how nicely it's keeping a heart shape!) but almost everything has the same thing going on. They are getting soft spots on the side--not the bottom, don't go assuming it's BER, it's not--. They're falling off the plant. The foliage looks terrible and I've been spraying--not religiously and the Daconil is a little on the older side. The only plants with fruit not yet affected are Grandfather Ashlock, Galina and Purple Haze. This is a very disappointing year.

Thought it might be. My neighbors have gotten a terrific crop this year. No problems at all. This is true. Of course they went away when they were going to plant out so when they came home, they didn't bother and just kept the plants in the sunroom. I guess it's just too dangerous to put them outside anymore.

Are you going to bag up the plants the way they suggest, to kill the sprores? Our newspaper said to pull a black junk bag down over top the plant, pull it out by the roots and then tie bag shut and let it cook in hot sun, like on a driveway, where heat is reflected. I thin I have had that on tomatoes in years past, but never knew what it was.

Black garbage bags aren't acceptable here so I have to cut up the vines and stuff them in a clear bag. Which I just did to my Beauty Queen (sob!). Cornell says to clean up everything on the ground and bury or send to the dump. Do not burn. So I hope it doesn't snow until Jan. because that's how long it'll take me to clean up this mess.

The only positive note in this unbelievably terrible year is that I did get seeds from the Kasachstan Rubin and Purple Haze.

No experience with late blight here, but I was under the impression that with the LB the spots were hard, not soft and mushy?
I could have sworn I read that on the Cornell site...but then I do tend to get things mixed up nowadays
