Default I cooked my yellow cherries?????

I put some yellow cherries which needed some more days to clean out the green color and soften, outside on a table under glass today. After 1 hr of sun it is 85 here today i took top off, all the cherry's pot open,and are no good now? what happen here.
I BOILED THEM I THINK

After picking slightly under ripe tomatoes you want to place them on a counter out of direct sunlight to allow them to ripen. Placing them in direct sunlight especially under glass is not a good idea but at least you found that out with a few cherries and not your larger beefsteak tomatoes.

You can "go on" with the process and make them into salsa, but of course that is your choice.

I did this because we have 2 kids with us tomorrow my wife is babysitting them, the 6 year old girl loves tomatoes, will eat them for hours nonstop. All i had was red cherries i did boil 2 negro azacta cherries, only 1 pop open, i eat 1. Sweet, I hope to have Black cherry's and Nego Azacta soon the try both.
