Harvest report from Oklahoma City

The yield on our paste maters has been fantastic. Buckets and Buckets so far. The best has been Super Marzano, very large fruit, very little or no BER, and very meaty. A close second would be the Classica hybrid. The La Roma and Roma’s, not so good.
I recently bought a Norpro Sauce Master and ran the maters through the mill this past weekend. . It works as advertised. We froze about 4-gal of juice/puree,
The best producers so far have been Early and Often, Bush Early Girl, and Tropic Boy and Better Boy. My beefsteaks have been all plant with very little blossoms. Also, the Momotaros have not produced and are in the process of dying from something. All in all, we have been blessed with an abundant harvest so far that has gone to many people.
Since we share most of our regular maters, I will be growing Goliath next year and drop the Momotaros.

WOW, I have a 1 Super Marzaon plant in a 5 gal pot, I call it now Super BER, Finally i have a few without blossom end rot, they are cute 5 inch babys.
