What's distinctive about it? What other cherries have you tried? Is it a volunteer, or a possibly mislabeled plant from a nursery, or seed-grown (and possibly crossed?)? Is the plant rampant, or compact? What do the leaves look like? How big is the cherry (weight or inches)? How does the flavor compare to other specific cherries you've tried?

I
l'll add fruit color to those questions b'c I can't tell the fruit color from the pictures but could be red or pink.

But honestly, I don't think anyone here can ID a variety just by pictures.

Did you grow it from seed purchased commercially and did it have a variety name, or was it from traded seeds and had a name, or was it from a plant at a nursery or farm market stand and had a name or not.

Once seeds or plants get separated from their variety name it's pretty much impossible to ID a vaariety.

I linked to a page at Tania's site so you can see how many varieties are cherry sized , which is a whole lot.

It could have gotten crossed with most any other cultivar and
still be cherry sized in the first generation of the cross (cherry
size is genetically dominant over larger tomato sizes).

Since the packet didn't specify a name, it's possible it could be anything, including a hybrid. If it were a hybrid, then the fruit would not necessarily be the same as last year's crop. And if you saved the seeds t his year (or let them fall on the ground), next year's could be different from the first two.

I used to let a volunteer or two grow in my garden, but they were usually not worth the space. THis year, though, I have an especially vigorous volunteer that's growing near where Earl's Faux grew last year, and since it got big before I noticed it, I'm letting it be to see what it'll produce.
