Default Aqua Cones

I bought some of hose aqua/water cone thingys, that you put a 2 litre bottle of water on to water plants. I bought these for the tomatoes that aren't in the garden, because it gets awlful dry over there without a water source. I was wondering how often to refill the bottle. Anybody ever use them?

I have used them before. They aren't pretty looking but they do the trick. As for refilling them it all depends on a variety of conditions so only time will tell you. Also occasionally its a good idea to yank them out ( if you leave them in long term ) and make sure they havent clogged up at all. For me they worked ok in pots if I was going away for a long weekend or so but I tend to keep them in the shed if I am around.
