Sweet Compost Bin

I found this image from the Cleveland Botanic Garden about a year ago. Now that Spring is approaching, I'm starting to think about rebuilding my compost bin. This one provides some very nice inspiration.

I love having a compost bin. For those that don't have space for big compost bins, every year most cities offer a one day only Spring compost Bin sale which is through your energy center.

I got one last year for $45 and a under the counter one for $7 and a compost turner for $15. The compost bin brand was The Earth Machine.

Would like to have a larger one like what you show but until then I have a starter. My poor husbands list of things I want him to build keeps growing. It seems like for every one that he completes I add another two. He is such a good sport..

That bin looks nice enough to put in the front yard. It's amazing how nice they can be if somebody else is footing the bill. LOL

The only place I have for a bin set-up is at the top of our drive, adjacent to the garage. It's there to greet anyone who visits - looks especially appetizing after the coons have had a go of it the night before

Now, I just have to hone my dormant carpentry skills...
