I hear you Ami. Minneapolis is forecast for 12-16" of snow today. We had a big warm up for about a week and we were thinking the worst might be over. It is still February, I guess.

Same here in Wisconsin.
We are under a "winter storm watch" from 6 AM this morning til 6 PM Monday evening. But as usual the weather forecasters are "off". It was supposed to be UGLY by 6 AM already. Shoot there isn't even a full overcast yet. We are supposed to have temps right near 32 all day. It's 31 right now. So the forecast is for snow changing to freezing rain, to rain back to snow and blowing snow. Right now after the warm spell we had last week, I can see mostly brown grass, other than the plowed snow piles. I was expecting a vision like those pics Ami posted. Carol |

As others have said - it IS really pretty. I understand your frustration tho'. One winter while we were stationed at Sembach, the high for the month of February was 19 F.... May I ask which part you're in? Bobbie in Cut-N-Shoot,TX |

Well it finally started snowing here around 10 AM. Only 4 hours later than forecast.
It seems to be a heavy wet stuff as the temp is 33. It is snowing fairly heavily for now. But looking at radar, we could be in some rain and or freezing rain shortly. I'm glad I don't have to go out for anything today. The roads are going to be a mess with this changeable stuff. This weather looks like it's supposed to hit a large area from the Dakotas all the way to the east coast. So take care everyone. Good day to look at seed catalogs again. Carol |

BSue54, I live about 30 minutes drive from Sembach. In fact I drive by there every Thursday going to Donnersberg.
Worth, If I win the lottery I'll take you up on your offer.

Current temp here is 78F, roughly 75 miles as the crow flies from the coast/bay, and we just got through moving the deck/platform that used to live under the trees, with a BBQ grill on it, over the end of the former garden, to give my SWC's (to be) a home up away from the ants. Now to move cinderblocks to contain the garden soil where the in-the-ground stuff is going to reside. Nope, I ain't gonna get anything planted today LOL Bobbie in Texas |
