Default Small and sweet heirloom melons

I've currently got seeds for Jenny Lind and Minnesota Midget. The Midgets didn't do well for me last year, I may try them again, but I am looking for an alternative.

Some of the ones I'm considering:

Charentais
Emerald Gem
Noir des Carmes
Petit Gris De Renne
Blenheim Orange

I have a short season with cool nights in June and September, and I'm growing in containers.

Thanks!

I like Petit Gris De Renne - it's amazingly sweet and a beautiful melon as well. It's not huge, but it is much larger than Minnesota Midget, in my experience. If I remember correctly, it's about the size of a typical store-bought melon whereas MM was about the size of a baseball, maybe just a tad bigger.

I have some muskmelon seeds from long ago. They are from the Pennsylvania Seed Company in Paradise, Penn. The brand name was Garden Spot Seeds and the packet sold for ten cents. I want to attempt to grow out a few of these myself, but I would love it if someone more experienced wished to attempt it. I would hate to waste these seeds, and they are so old that I feel special knowledge and care would be required.
