Early Girl Setting Fruit in 100 degree Heat?

I planted 2 early girls late, I think a couple of weeks after mothers day. These two plants are still setting loads of fruit even though it has been in the mid 90's to a low 100's for most of the last month. A few flowers are dropping, but more are setting. These plants get sun from about 11am to sunset. The Heirlooms I have and other hybrids have completly shut down fruit production. Has anyone ever observed this behavior before?

Dont know what it is but mine are about the only ones still producing here in SE Texas. Mine do get shade about 3 pm.

Early Girl is a work horse. Many complain of its flavor, go without watering as long as possible and it becomes very sweet and fairly complex. One of the best flavored tomatoes I have tried was a dry farmed Early Girl. Plants where watered only once, fruit was very small with tough skin, but flavor is off the hook.
I would not believe it if I had not tried them myself.
