Japanese Vegetable How-To Videos
These videos are from Japanese seed company- Takii Seeds (who created Momotarou)- for the Japanese home gardener. Even though the videos are in Japanese, a (moving) picture is worth a thousand words. There are about three videos in each of these How-To videos.

Really interesting, Jeff! Preparing the plant holes reminds me of some kind of meditation in Zen Buddhism.
Next year I'll try some Japanese veggies: Sekaiichi tomato, Yatsufusa Togarashi chili and Chunaga Nasu eggplant; I suppose the eggplant shown in the clip is this variety. It's a pity that I don't understand Japanese! clara |
