Actinovate with use by 12-11, Actinoiron

I had some difficulty locating actinovate this year locally. Found some today with a date that it was best used by December 2011. Do you think the product is still effective? I plan to use it, along with tomato thrive at plant out, and then later in the year as a foliar spray.

They also had actinoiron. Would love to hear any a stories of your use of actinoiron. Applied in soil, containers? Any noticeable results? Thanks.

You shouldn't have any problems. Shoot Boomer an e-mail at Natural Industries and give him the store name and location and he will get his sales rep out there as they don't want their products on the shelf that are past there best used by date. Ami

Thanks Ami. I'll give Boomer a jingle. I planted out 22 plants this morning. Still digging dirt out from under my nails. Feels great though!

I did a dip and later drench with the remaining liquid of Tomato Thrive and Actinovate. Then fertilized with Tomato tone, some extra phosphate and a broadcast sprinkling of a Actinoiron. Hoping for the best!

I was looking at this bag of pea-vetch inoculant a few days ago (rhizobium
that fixes nitrogen on the roots of these kinds of plant), and it said that
exposure to sunlight will kill it. (Not an issue if you moisten the seeds and
coat them with inoculant before planting.)

If you are talking to Boomer at Natural Industries about the
past-the-pull-date Actinovate, you might ask him if sunlight
will kill it. (I would not expect so, since people foliage feed with
it to help control foliage diseases, but their lab people would
certainly know one way or the other.)
