Is something wrong with my Big Beef plant?
The Big Beef was planted four weeks ago and within three weeks one blosson appeared which has since set fruit. The single tomato is now about two inches in diameter, but since then, nary a blossom on the entire plant! My Sungold and Sweet 100 plants have set blossoms; however no blossoms on the San Marzano or Jet Star plans.
I realize some of the questions I post, being a complete rookie, may seem quite naive concerning container gardening, but I value every little bit of information I receive in reply to my questions. |

The first thought that hit me was "too much nitrogen". If youi're fertilizing, then back off for a week or two. Other than that, some plants don't show blooms for a while after others have already set fruit. Each plant seems to have a different schedule.
Some pictures of your plants would go a long way toward getting some better answers. Right now, we can only guess.
