Tropical Storm Debby
Just wondering how the rest of the Florida members are fairing in this TS Debby.
If the storm takes the turn they are saying it looks like it will go back west and the southern states from Fl to TX are going to get a taste. Hope yall are ready to get wet. We have had it pretty good today, had to dump a 1 quart bucket that was empty before the rains started. The weather station says we didn't get but 1.5 inches...Ha they need to come see my bucket... Hope the rest of the members here who are in the path of this storm are doing well and not flooding.

Jan - Major rainfall has not reached DeLand yet but the forecast calls for an 80% possibility of thunderstorms today. As of now, it looks like folks south of us will get more rain than we do. However, you never know with systems like this -- unpredictable other than some places here in Florida will get a lot of rain.

thanks folks, it is always good to hear reports from other locations and to make sure yall are doing well.
It hasn't much stopped here from yesterday, maybe a half hour here and there with not heavy rain, just light rain. Right now though we are having moderate heavy rain. Swimming pool overflow is having a hard time keeping up trying to keep the pool from overflowing.

I managed to turn my compost pile, mulch a couple of beds and service the bird and squirrel feeders earlier this morning but it's sprinkling now and it looks like the heavy stuff is on its way. We've never had flooding issues anywhere near our home and the only wind damage we've had is a couple of trees coming down in past storms. Power outages are a major concern because they're frequent here during storms.
