Pruning tomato plants

I would (thankfully) appreciate any advice on prunning tomato plants in containers.

Common scene , as soon as fruit/flowers come out and are picked cut leaves off under where they came from. and push the 1 stem up. tie the stem up every other day. and you will get more fruit. Maybe only 2 fruits and flowers in pots. My plants are in ground plants are 24"-30" high, put have flowers on bottom stems, 30 more days i will get more flowers and fruits. Then it is Sept here and maybe some on tops of plants. This is not for cherry's, only big Heiloom tomatoes. i grow for fruit so i cut much leaves under the fruit have it grows up to 6ft I hope?????

i did 2 main stems on my containers. here are some photos showing what i did. so far things are going great. i am now getting my first ripe tomatoes.

all 3 varieties took well to the pruning. the mr stripey didnt seem to be doing as well at first but when it got hot outside the stripey caught up on the growth and is now as big as my others

by the way my 5 foot stakes were not nearly long enough. i have since latched on extenders with zip ties and they are holding up well.

Here is a picture from a local tomato greenhouse.
It is all about the money, so they want maximum tomato production for the space.

They grow 2 plants in a 6 liter plastic bag, each plant is pruned to one vine.
